Tired after coming down from Tengkangpoche. Pcture by Tim Banfield.

I´m 25-year-old alpinist based in Imatra, Finland.

I´ve been venturing on the mountains since 2007. First trekking in the European mountains, but later on started ice- and rock climbing. At early age it was obvious that my passion and life lies in the mountains.

In a few years time I moved on from classical mountaineering to climb big technical routes in the Alps, especially on the north faces. Also, I´ve climbed several 7000 meter peaks in the Central-Asia, often solo.

Nowadays I’m fully focused to alpinism. Challenging days, whisper of a wind, golden sunsets, cold bivouacs are all good examples why I love an every breath of this.

My next projects include attempts to climb modern testpieces in the Alps, Alaska and Patagonia, but also start to fulfill my dreams to open new routes in the greater ranges. When not in the mountains, you can find me from a local rock or mixed crag.

I’m a UIAA Sport Climbing Instructor and will continue to improve skills on the way of guiding too.

This website is all about rough trip reports and stories from the mountains. Hopefully you can find valuable information, but also inspiration to go out and try hard.
